Melissa specializes in coordinating vendors and capturing the small details that go into making an event or wedding memorable.  She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in Recreation and Park Administration with a focus in Therapeutic Recreation.  She completed  her internship with a non-profit organization located in Boulder, Colorado.  After returning back to Kentucky, she worked several years as an event coordinator for a senior living retirement community in Lexington.  Melissa enjoys traveling, laughing, yoga and spending time with her husband, Jim, son Benjamin and their golden doodle, Wally. 

Fun Facts about Melissa

1. It was love at first sight when she met her husband. The quiet, green eyed guy in the corner of Merrick won her heart. 
2. Hearing her son's laugh is her greatest joy.  
3. She never visits the same place twice on vacation; the world is just too big.
4. Her grandmother Bonnie will always be the most influential person in her life. 
5.  Melissa's favorite Pandora channel is a toss up between    Paul Simon or Van Morrison.
6. She is a southpaw. Thanks to her sister for making her switch the crayons to her left hand when they were little.
7. Her favorite part of any wedding is when the groom sees his bride for the first time. 
8. She relies heavily on her faith.  
9. She is a reality tv junkie; She is still holding on to hope that they find bigfoot and that the bachelor falls in love. 
10. She always wanted to learn how to play the fiddle.
